I am often reminded how wonderful our neighborhood is as I walk to get a coffee at Sarah’s Market, Hi Rise or Formaggio. The fall leaves are beautiful, the houses as unique and pretty as each different tree. But as I started to put this guide together I was really reminded that everything anyone could possibly want is right here!
For the family cat or dog and your favorite pet owner. Thus is a great place to find something for the animal lover in your family.
At J Miles you will find some great clothes to wear to all those upcoming holiday parties. There is a beautiful selection of jewelry of all styles that will appeal to young and younger (my 6 year old son begged for the stretchy bracelet). Many of the pieces are made by local artisans from gorgeous accessories, gloves, scarves and more.
(to be continued)
This sounds like a wonderful event.

Food for Free is a great organization that rescues fresh food from going to waste and ensures that it gets used for the emergency food system. During the growing season, they grow fruits and veggies to distribute as well. This food is delivered to low-income Cambridge residents who cannot access food pantries due to illness or disability.
For the past two years, Didriks has hosted a wonderful evening event that benefits Food for Free. Join Didriks for an evening of bites and conversation in a setting of gorgeous housewares all for a good cause. Season To Taste, will bring some delectable bites for you to sample while you browse the store for your month of shopping ahead. For the entire month of February Didriks shows their love with 5% of all sales (online and in store) going towards Food for Free.

Happy Huron Village Holidays.
Gray Mist is celebrating their 5th Anniversary tomorrow (Wednesday, November 10th) from 3:00 – 7:00. It seems like yesterday they just opened their first little space that has since expanded twice now. In fact, 5 years ago this little Nantucket basket studio and gift shop found a home on Huron Ave.
Now five years later and just in time for the season of hostess gifts and gift-giving holidays, they will be debuting some new items as well as some seasoned favourites.
The Huron Village Voice is the updated version of a town crier calling out news big and small from here on out. It is a virtual village bulletin board for what is going on around Huron Ave. and more than that…
…The people make the neighbourhood, so this is the place to share what you are working on, planning, doing, creating, composing, developing and more. Whether you live here or work here, feel free to share what you are doing.
